City to Surf Sunday 25 August

The City to Surf event will be held on Sunday 25 August.

Some roads surrounding HBF Stadium will be closed throughout the day. It is possible to access the venue for your gym workout or swim but please allow plenty of extra time and plan your trip in advance.

To access HBF Stadium:

Entry is off Stephenson Ave from the Rochdale Rd end or via McGillivray Rd travelling north along Brockway Rd. Exit from the venue will be via a left turn only onto Stephenson Ave or via McGillivray Rd with a right turn only onto Brockway Rd.

To access Bendat Basketball Centre:

Access will be via HBF Stadium entry. If entering off Stephenson Avenue, turn left at the roundabout, follow the road past the WA Athletics Stadium and continue to the Basketball Centre. If entering via McGillivray Rd, make your way to the front of HBF Stadium and proceed through the roundabout and continue as above. 

Road closures around the Mt Claremont Sport Precinct include;

From 6.00am

• West Coast Hwy, between Oceanic Drive and Challenger Parade (north)
• Perry Lakes Drive
• Perry Lakes internal roads
• Ulster Road
• Chandler Avenue West

From 8.00am

• Underwood Ave, between Selby St and Stephenson Avenue north/east and west/south
• Brookdale Street/Brockway Rd, between Gunn St and McGillivray Rd
• Stephenson Avenue, Between HBF Stadium and Underwood Avenue
• Meagher Drive, between Finishline View and Underwood Avenue

From 8.30am

• Selby Street, between Alderbury Street and Orton Road (traffic crossing point intersection Hay and Selby Streets - see City to Surf website for details)
