Q: How long have you been a swim instructor?
I have been a swimming instructor for about 9 months now.
Q: What swim levels do you teach?
I teach a range of levels, but mainly level 1s and 2s.
Q: What are your certifications?
I have the:
- Swimming and water safety teacher certificate
- CPR certificate
- COVID certificate
- Working with Children’s certificate
Q: What is the best part about teaching at HBF Stadium?
The best part about teaching at HBF is the incredibly friendly staff including the other instructors and extremely helpful supervisors..
Q: Why do you think it is so important for everyone to become a competent swimmer?
I believe it is important for everyone for safety. It will reduce a person’s fear of the water, making pools, beaches and even boats less stressful environments to be in.
Q: What is something people may not know about you?
One interesting thing is I love to cook meals for myself and other people, especially big dinners!
Q: If you could be anyone else for a day who would it be and why?
I would want to be my dad. He is the most influential and responsible person I know and he is the type of person I want to grow up and become.
Q: Who is your sporting idol?
I have 2 sporting idols:
- Matthew Pavlich, a retired legend who played for the Fremantle Dockers (AFL)
- Jayson Tatum, a young super star who currently plays for the Boston Celtics (NBA)
As well as our knowledgeable, experienced and friendly instructors like Noah, at HBF Stadium we offer classes with low ratios to ensure maximised learning. Swimming classes at HBF Stadium are continuous with a six week break in the December/January school holidays when our Summer Holiday Swim takes off, so kids are consistently progressing their skills.
